Why Pelican Bay Living Continues to Delight

With world-class amenities and a premiere setting, the promise of a Pelican Bay lifestyle continues to delight prospective new and existing residents, alike. Home to thousands of private residences, buyers in Pelican Bay can choose from low-rise condos, high-rise condos, villas, coach homes or single-family homes.

This private, master-planned community is made up of some gated and non-gated communities, connected by native trees, ponds and natural landscaping. One of the most exclusive of all is Bay Colony, which has its own list of private amenities.

The Strand consists of a dozen beachfront mansions and is the only community of its kind in Naples with a 24-hour guard-gated entrance. As for the greater development, residents of Pelican Bay have access to two tennis facilities and a 27-hole golf course.

There’s also a Fitness and Wellness Center, plus the option of Gulf-front dining and private beaches. Private beaches stretch for nearly three miles along Pelican Bay’s western edge with two access points

The North Beach is popular for shelling, dolphin watching, exercise classes and sea kayaking. It is also a more relaxing location.

South Beach, in comparison, is a great place for families. You’ll find a family-friendly restaurant here, plus sailboards, sea kayaks and volleyball.

The only way to reach the beaches is by taking a stroll along the boardwalk through the mangroves or by taking the community’s tram. The Pelican Bay tram offers residents an easy way to travel around, as the tram runs along the boardwalks and berms, transporting residents to the beach and area restaurants.

Clam Bay is a popular spot for canoeing and kayaking. The community also makes room for running, jogging, bicycling and nature walks.

For those who do venture off property, you’ll find upscale shopping, dining and cultural attractions a short distance away from Pelican Bay.
