Quail Creek Country Club Completes Renovations
It’s been two years, and now The Quail Creek Country Club has finished a multimillion-dollar renovation project that started back in June 2013. The improvements largely centered on the prestigious golf club’s two golf courses; making Greenside Grille eatery larger with an indoor/outdoor design with a fire pit, peninsular bar and more seating for large and small groups; adding two bocce courts; in addition to a new Sports Lounge. Quail Creek Country Club is a premier, private, member-owned country club in Naples. The Club still features its personalized brew, Quail Ale, which is widely beloved by many members after a round of golf.
The extensive renovation project was planned in three distinct phases, beginning with much-needed upgrades to the Creek Golf Course and its irrigation system and grass surfaces. The next stage involved a complete renovation to the 18-hole Quail Golf Course that mirrored the updates to the Creek Golf Course, and finally the third phase was the construction of a new Sports Lounge next to the tennis Pro Shop and the addition of two new bocce ball courts. The country club features a comprehensive tennis program, fitness and spa facilities, fine dining in the Clubhouse and a vibrant social activities program.
The original golf course architect, Arthur Hills, approved all proposed renovations to the golf courses by the golf course Superintendent and builder, Kevin Leo. Every bunker, tee box, and green complex was improved upon, and textures and colors were added for framing the holes. Now, all 36 holes---both golf courses---are more playable and turf conditions are much better. Stonegate Bank of Naples provided financing of the project.
