Naples Winter Wine Festival 2015

Fast approaching, one of the most prestigious and lavish wine festivals in the world returns to Naples from January 23-25 celebrating its 15th Anniversary at The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples.  The social extravaganza of the year will feature 12 Master Sommeliers; over 40 world-renowned vintners from 15 wine regions of the world; and offer the best wine and food of the year.  Naples residents plan their social calendars and pencil in the date far in advance to attend this sparkling event.  Wine Spectator magazine calls the Naples Winter Wine Festival “the most successful charity wine auction in the nation.”  Luxury Institute ranks the festival among the Top 10 arts and entertainment events for wealthy Americans, based on prestige, exclusivity and quality.

The exclusive 3-day event, limited to only 550 guests, is already sold out.  The schedule of events begins with wine tasting and a luncheon with Olivier Krug from the House of Krug Champagne and special guest moderator Antonio Galloni, world-renowned wine critic; a tour of charities that benefit area children in need; and hosts Vintners Dinners, exclusive private dinners at one of 16 elegant homes in Naples with a renowned vintner pairing wines with culinary cooking by one of the world’s greatest chefs.  A wine auction follows with bidding for exceptional wines, dining experiences, custom travel packages, unique fine art, jewelry and fashion, one-of-a-kind treasures and more.

Michelin-starred Master Sommelier Larry Stone, one of the nation’s most esteemed sommeliers and wine educators, will return as the Honored Sommelier for the festival, leading a team of 12 other Master Sommeliers.  The grand raffle prize is a custom blue 2015 Lamborghini Huracan.  Last year, the festival raised $12.5 million for the Naples Children and Education Foundation, which distributes annual grants that have impacted more than 40 nonprofit agencies and 200,000 underprivileged children and at-risk children.
