Already one of the most popular golf clubs in the Naples area, Naples Lakes Country Club recently picked up the honor of being named the Top Golf Course and Country Club in Collier County. The honor comes from the Readers’ Choice Awards competition, as decided by readers of the Naples Daily News.
It’s just one of the many state and local awards the club’s picked up over the years. It’s right in line with other top honors bestowed on the club, including another recent award from readers of Gulfshore Life Magazine. For that award, Naples Lakes was also named the top golf course in Collier County and received the honor of finalist in a category recognizing its tennis facility.
Back in early 2019, the club additionally earned a number eleven spot in terms of Florida’s top golf courses. That award was part of Golf Advisor’s Best of 2018 Florida list. It mentioned the state’s top 30 golf courses.
The Naples Lakes golf course recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation project. Crews enlarged and leveled tee complexes, built new greens, reshaped fairways and expanded practice facilities at the club.
While boasting the only Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course in Collier County, Naples Lakes is also home to a year-round tennis program. The active community additionally features a golf pro shop, fitness center, casual and formal dining opportunities and a full calendar of planned activities and programs for its members.
The gated golf course community offers bundled golf memberships to its residents. It also offers hundreds of acres of lakes and nature preserves, helping to make it a Florida Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
First established in the late 1990s, the nearly 500-acre Naples Lakes Country Club is also a Certified Blue Zone Community and a past winner of the Audubon International Biodiversity Award.
