Mediterra Named Top 150 Platinum Country Club
With luxury golf, a private beach club and superb attention to detail, Mediterra is ranked as one of the top country clubs in the nation. The rankings are put together by Platinum Clubs of America, a premiere list of the top 150 clubs in the United States.
On the list as number 49, the club is noted for its overall excellence in facilities and amenities, superb quality of membership and an exceptional overall experience, among other features. It is one of just two Naples clubs to make the list for 2016-2018, and the only one in the top 50.
Along with two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses, the club is limited in membership, offering the opportunity for a more exclusive membership and enhanced possibilities. The club additionally features a Golf Learning Center, and options ranging from casual to fine dining in the members-only clubhouse.
Another key advantage of membership at Mediterra is access to the private Beach Club. The two-story clubhouse has a second-level swimming pool overlooking Gulf beaches, plus more outdoor and indoor dining options. Meanwhile, the Sports Club offers an impressive seven Har-Tru tennis courts, two of which include expanded seating for spectators. Private and group lessons are available, as well as club championship tournaments.
A fully staffed fitness center and spa provides multiple weekly fitness classes and workout equipment, while miles upon miles of trails and paths lead throughout the community for walking and jogging, passing by the lakes and preserves that make up the club community. An Italian garden-style Piazza sets the stage for elegant special events near the Sports Club & Wellness Center, while a Great Lawn provides room for outdoor events and concerts throughout the year. There’s also a bocce garden to entertain members and residents.
With the choice of a social, sports and beach or a golf membership, Mediterra provides the prestige of private country club amenities, surrounded by luxury and the natural beauty of Southwest Florida.
