Mediterra Clubhouse Expansion
Spurred by an ever-expanding membership, the Mediterra clubhouse is once again expanding itself. Plans call for adding on to the already extraordinary amenities available within the Clubhouse at Mediterra.
The appealing clubhouse will soon see the addition of another 23,000 square feet of space, while the project also calls for renovating about 7,100 square feet of existing building space. The $12 million project is expected to kick off next summer, with the following phase beginning in the summer of 2019.
The additions include a new covered dining area, an expanded ballroom and upgrades to the building’s lower level. In addition, the project also calls for a new gathering bar, expanding the dining terraces that face the greens, adding a garden room and adding in more storage space.
The current project is not the first time the 17-year old clubhouse has undergone renovations. In 2008 the club added an outdoor tavern close to the 19th hole, while in 2013 the grille room and kitchen underwent their own upgrades. As well, both the North and South golf courses have also seen improvements over the years.
Altogether, the past and future expansion and renovation plans have only added to the allure of the luxury home community. Mediterra additionally boasts the two challenging golf courses, bocce ball and tennis courts, plus a swimming pool. As well, there are also pickleball courts on the property, plus miles upon miles of jogging and walking trails for added outdoor recreation.
With dozens of new home sites now available, it’s no wonder that Mediterra continues to evolve and present even more opportunities for future homebuyers. Now with new expansion and renovation plans pushing ahead for the clubhouse, the development is no doubt on track to continue to deliver upon an upscale experience for its current and future members for many years to come.
