Lowdermilk Beach Park: A Fun Naples Beachfront Park

One of Naples’ premier beachfront parks, Lowdermilk Park is a fun place to spend the day.  There are plenty of sand volleyball courts, two children’s playgrounds, a concession stand, picnic tables, benches, metered and unmetered parking spaces, restrooms, outdoor showers and gazebos for rent.  There is also a terrific duck pond.  Lowdermilk sometimes hosts small-boat regattas for all ages—kids to the retired. Bring a book or stay to watch the spectacular sunset.  It’s a beautiful place to snorkel and swim as well.

Lowdermilk Park offers 1,000 feet of pristine beachfront, lots of picnic tables for a lunch with your family and friends, or you can grab a bite to eat from the concession stand located in the middle of the park.  Items for sale include hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, sausage, salads, coffee, soft drinks and more.

Located on Gulf Shore Boulevard between Coquina Sands and The Moorings neighborhoods, Lowdermilk Beach Park is a great park to catch your breath and relax under the gorgeous sunshine.  There is a lot of shade for protected lounging.  There are 125 parking spots available.  Some of the parking spaces require a Beach Parking permit, while the other spots are metered.  The beach is open from 8:00 a.m. to sundown.
