Lake Park is Transforming
It may be one of the oldest neighborhoods in Naples, but Lake Park is certainly transforming. While the well-established neighborhood offers around 450 single-family homes, there’s now the opportunity for buyers to snap up a brand-new construction home in the neighborhood.
Expected to be completed later this fall and winter, three new luxury homes are in the works, all of which are priced in the multi-million-dollar range. The three new homes are described as having coastal-chic style points, complete with open floorplans and abundant outdoor space from developer Dave Wainscott.
One of the new homes includes four-bedrooms plus a den and 3.5-baths, along with a media room, a great room with high ceilings and a gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances. Another new construction option also includes four-bedrooms plus a den, along with sliding glass doors opening to a private swimming pool and spa overlooking water views.
The most expensive new home on the market in Lake Park offers 2,800 square feet of living space and overlooks a large lake. It’s thought the new homes will help spur a transformation of sorts for the neighborhood.
The non-gated community of Lake Park is currently a mix of Old Florida-style beach cottages and newer, single-family homes, but options are available for those with the inspiration to make something new. Originally built up starting in the early 1950s, some of the original homes are still standing in the neighborhood and are available as teardowns, while other original homes are a bit larger, and have been completely updated and renovated in recent years.
There are other homes that have recently hit the market that date back to the early 1970s, such as a concrete block construction home in a one-story design with three-bedrooms, two-baths, and around 1,400 square feet of living space. You’ll find the Lake Park neighborhood in between US 41 and Goodlette-Frank Road, close to Downtown Naples.
