Kinsale Golf Club Breaks Ground in North Naples

A brand-new golf club is now underway in North Naples. Crews recently broke ground on the new Kinsale Golf Club, which is going in on some previously undeveloped land around Vanderbilt Drive and Wiggins Pass Road.

This is a stand-alone, 18-hole course, which won’t be attached to a residential community, although it does share the same developer and property owner as Kalea Bay. The luxury condo development happens to be right across the street.

As for the new golf club, it plans to offer its members access to a putting green, a short game area, a teaching area, and a driving range. Reports suggest the golf course will be good for golfers of all abilities.

As for the clubhouse, it’s said its design will likely feature some Dutch West Indies-inspired style points. Some of the acreage will include lakes and a boardwalk, as well as some cart paths, while dozens of acres will be reserved on the northern edge of the property for a preserve.

The clubhouse is planned for the southeastern side of the property, where you will also soon also find the main entrance to the club. What you won’t find with this golf club will be many country club-style amenities, other than golf.

There probably won’t be dinner service, although you may find some breakfast, lunch, and beverage options available at the club. There also won’t be a swimming pool.

It’s likely the new Kinsale golf course will be finished by late 2024. Memberships to the new club can already be reserved, but there will only be 250 dues-paying members allowed during the golf season.

At least initially, membership dues will be paid on an annual basis, prior to each golf season. The club will likely close during the summer months for course upkeep and annual maintenance.
