Popular TV Judge Judy Sheindlin, known as “Judge Judy,” is moving from her penthouse at Bay Colony to a nearby private lakefront mansion in Pelican Bay.  She bought the new home in November for $8.6 million.  Her previous penthouse on the 16th floor of a condo building is now on the market for a cool $11 million.  Judge Judy stars in a courtroom series on TV, presiding over real-life small claims cases inside a televised courtroom.  She has been a fixture on the popular “Judge Judy” TV show for the past 20 years.  She is best known for her wisecracking, straight-up approach in the courtroom.

Judge Judy’s spectacular lakefront mansion sprawls over 10,607 square feet, containing glamorous amenities such as a landscaped yard, lagoon-style pool and spa, three waterfalls, and a gazebo.  Her new single-family home is located at 356 Colony Drive in Naples, and offers 6 spacious bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and features 10,607 square feet.  The home was built in 1992.  The TV show queen, Judge Judy is said to make a salary of $47 million a year.  Judge Judy bought the home with her husband, Jerry Sheindlin, who is also a real-life judge, bought the home.  He was a fixture on TV in the 1990s and 2000s as the “People’s Court” judge who presided over small claims court cases amid high drama.

Her Gulf-front penthouse is located in The Windsor, a resort-style high-rise condo building at Bay Colony. It is reportedly the size of a mansion.  Her former luxury penthouse residence features four spacious bedrooms opening directly to four large balconies; offers lots of windows to enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico; two private high-speed elevators; four full bathrooms; two half-bathrooms, and sells for $11 million.  Large windows provide sweeping views of the sandy Gulf coastline and sparkling Gulf of Mexico.  The penthouse has parking for three cars and a private cabana/artist studio near the Gulf-front swimming pool.  The penthouse is professionally decorated in a traditional East Coast-style rather than a South Florida beach style, as one would expect in Naples.  It was bought in 2005 for $6.9 million by the syndicated TV judge and her husband.
