Fishing Lake Takes Center Stage at Berkshire Village

Berkshire Village is full of charm, but it’s the property’s fishing lake that truly takes center stage in this Naples community. The gated community is built up around a lake, making it the perfect place to do some fishing, or even set up a picnic lunch.

The community of Berkshire Village has its own fishing pier, plus you’ll also find some walking and jogging paths for additional outdoor recreation in the community. In addition, the property includes some community swimming pools, tennis courts, and lounge areas. This laid-back community offers the option to be as active as you desire, whether that means enjoying some of the added recreational options, or just hanging out around the fishing lake.

Mostly consisting of single-family homes and condos, the deed-restricted community is made up of a number of different neighborhoods. Many of the attractively priced homes of Berkshire Village tend to offer either two- or three-bedrooms.

It’s typical to find homes with around 1,100 to 1,500 square feet of living space. Some of the units come with such additions as an eat-in kitchen and a screened-in lanai. You may also find homes with vaulted ceilings and some built-ins.

Some of the homes in this established community were built as far back as the 1980s but are oftentimes well maintained and ready for a new owner. Canterbury Village at Berkshire Village was built in the early 1990s with two community swimming pools, a clubhouse, a sundeck, and a barbeque area.

While residents of Canterbury Village are able to enjoy their own neighborhood amenities, they also have access to the added amenities of the greater Berkshire Village community. You’ll find the community in South Naples, just off Santa Barbara Boulevard. The location is close to area schools and within a short drive of local beaches, plus the shops and restaurants of 5th Avenue.
