Avery Square in North Naples Has Roots as a Former Nursery

These days you’ll find a nice collection of single-family homes for buyers to choose from in Avery Square, but back in the past, the North Naples neighborhood served its community in a much different way. The gated neighborhood we now know as Avery Square sits on land which once belonged to the HM Buckley & Sons Nursery.

You’ll find the newer construction homes of Avery Square just off Airport Pulling Road, with the main entrance across the street from the Lakeside of Naples community. The neighborhood is also extremely close to the Collier County Library headquarters.

Made up of just 82 homes in all, the private residences of Avery Square were mostly built up between the years 2017 and 2019. There are several different layouts for buyers to consider, in either a single-story or a two-story design.

Most homes in Avery Square tend to offer around 1,800 square feet of living space to sometimes around 3,500 square feet of living space. Many of the homes feature either three- or four-bedrooms and usually at least two- or three-baths.

Some homes come with private swimming pools and lanais for outdoor living and entertaining space, as well as such extras as a gourmet kitchen with an island and stainless-steel appliances. You may also find a den or home office for flexibility, and sometimes even a loft.

Some of the floorplans in the neighborhood also come with high ceilings, a smart home technology system, wide plank hardwoods and other desirable features and finishes. Some of the homes of Avery Square additionally back up to peaceful and direct lake views.

The neighborhood sits within a short drive of area beaches, plus shopping and dining in North Naples. You’ll find Avery Square to the west of 75, between Vanderbilt Beach Road and Orange Blossom Drive in Naples.
