Ave Maria Named Collier Community of the Year

With an exceptional array of neighborhoods and amenities, Ave Maria was just named Collier County’s Community of the Year for the third year running. The top award goes to communities in the under $500,000 category, judged on a number of different added features.
The prestigious honor comes from the Collier Building Industry Association for those communities supplying everything from amenities to recreation that help add to the overall quality of a community. Ave Maria is home to seven different neighborhoods featuring dozens of different floor plans.
Ranging from the high $100,000s to the $500,000s, new buyers are sure to find a variety of options in Ave Maria. Typically home designs range from around 1,400 square feet to spacious homes topping 5,000 square feet of living space, with some including such desirable extras as bonus lofts and outdoor kitchens.
It’s the added amenities, though, that really put Ave Maria over the top. Those amenities include easy access to an on-site waterpark plus to the Gordon Lewis-designed Panther Run Golf Club. In addition, residents enjoy bocce ball and tennis, miles upon miles of biking and walking trails, a dog park plus the convenience of dining and shopping within Town Center.
Meanwhile, other extras include easy access to area schools, playgrounds, sports fields and grocery shopping. Eventually, plans call for around 11,000 residents to be at home within Ave Maria, and well upwards of 1 million square feet of office, retail and business space in this eastern Collier County community.
It’s not the only honor that Ave Maria has picked up. Recently the community was also named the best selling single-family community in the region. The award marks the 11th quarter that Ave Maria’s received the honor, placing it at the top of the list for both new home starts and for move-ins.
