The master-planned community of Ave Maria is now a five-time award winner when it comes to Collier County’s Community of the Year. The community just picked up the award for the fifth time from the Collier Building Industry Association.
A panel of independent judges ranks communities in Collier County each year on things like recreation, a community’s overall amenity package and outdoor use amenities. This may include gazebos, sculptures and paths. The category of recreation takes into account things like a community’s pools, tennis facilities and golf facilities.
In particular, the designation gives credit to Ave Maria’s seemingly endless supply of added amenities, including trails, parks with sports fields, an amphitheater, dog park and bocce ball courts.
The Ave Maria Water Park, meanwhile, adds in a water playground, swimming pools, water slides, beach volleyball and nearby tennis courts. Panther Run Golf Club supplies access to a pro shop, aqua range and 18-holes of championship golf. There are also eco-adventure safaris available, plus residents are treated to a full round of social activities, festivals, events and concerts throughout the year.
The self-sustaining town of Ave Maria additionally includes dining and shopping options, as well as plenty of parks and recreational possibilities. Of course, along with all the amenities, residents of Ave Maria are additionally treated to a full range of single-family home designs.
With views of the golf course, preserve or lake, buyers have dozens of different floor plans to choose from and a range of price points. Eventually plans call for up to 11,000 residences in Ave Maria, as well as more than 1.5-million square feet of office and retail space and a business park.
Earlier this year the community also picked up the designation of Southwest Florida’s fastest growing new home community for the fifth year in a row.
