It’s fun to visit Naples any time of year, but fall is an especially great time to take advantage of some of the state’s best sunrises and sunsets. While it’s easy to get drawn into the blue skies and warm temperatures, heading out a bit early or ending your day on the beach can be just as fantastic.

Even if you’re not a morning person, you certainly won’t want to miss the experience of watching the sun come up over the sand and water. Southwest Florida has plenty of great spots to choose from, including Vanderbilt Beach, North Gulfshore Beach and Tigertail Beach.

Home sales are booming in South Naples right now, particularly in the popular communities of Fiddler’s Creek, Naples Reserve and Isles of Collier Preserve. Stock Development reports it’s already been a great year for the company, with several models currently open for viewing in all three neighborhoods.

Since the beginning of May alone, Stock reports a summer sales pace of 113 new home contracts, totaling more than $117 million. For all of 2019, Stock reports 238 home sales, worth an estimated $279 million.

The master-planned community of Ave Maria is now a five-time award winner when it comes to Collier County’s Community of the Year. The community just picked up the award for the fifth time from the Collier Building Industry Association.

A panel of independent judges ranks communities in Collier County each year on things like recreation, a community’s overall amenity package and outdoor use amenities. This may include gazebos, sculptures and paths. The category of recreation takes into account things like a community’s pools, tennis facilities and golf facilities.

If you’re searching for a place to spend your Golden Years, Naples is the place to be. Time after time the city’s been named a top city for retirees, with the most recent designation calling it the number one city for early retirement.  The latest ranking comes from the personal finance website Magnify Money. It puts Naples at the top of the list for what it calls a “FIRE” retirement.

Construction begins soon for a brand-new community headed to Naples. Manatee Cove is set to go up on 75-acres of land, conveniently located off Manatee Road and US 41 in eastern Collier County.

The entire project calls for around 160 single-family homes when complete. Buyers will have their choice of either a single-story home or a two-story home in the community.
