New coach homes and twin villas are headed to East Naples, with the new Arboretum community coming soon to the area. Currently under construction near Thomasson Drive and Bayshore Drive, the future Arboretum development sits just across from Naples Botanical Garden and not far from some of the other most favored attractions in the region.
Once the site of a former apartment complex, the site has now been cleared, setting the stage for the new residences to go up. Under development by Mattamy Homes, the site calls for the eventual inclusion of more than 200 condo units, coming in two designs of attached villas and four designs of coach homes.
Ranging from around 1,300 to 1,800 square feet in size, the new home designs include the option of two- to three-bedrooms and up to 2.5-baths. Every home is expected to include at least a one-car attached garage, while all units feature a balcony or covered lanai.
Expected to start priced in the low $300,000s, the first furnished model homes should be finished by spring of next year. The villas will feature the option of either a one- or two-story design, with four residences to a building.
Meanwhile, the coach homes will sit six residences to a building, with top floor and bottom level units available. Many of the new residences will also feature the advantage of water views.
Crews reportedly plan to keep a large lake already on the property, while a smaller lake will be added, then encircled by the new condos. In addition, the community will offer an amenity center complete with a spa and swimming pool, a grilling area, covered cabanas and a fire pit. It will also offer picnic space and a fitness center.
The Canadian-based homebuilder developing Arboretum is also the force behind Compass Landing, another new construction Mattamy Homes community under development in Naples.
